Full Recovery Sunday

Did you know it actually can take a year for a mom to recover from giving birth and not the 6 weeks people think is enough??
It only takes a full week to recover from a family vacation tho lol. I was playing with the video a little bit and decided I liked it.
Special Sunday Edition of The Trinity Life.
Enjoy!

Good Grass & Green Eyed Monsters

I have encountered quite a few green eyed monsters lately that don't undertand I have the same free will they do. The only difference is what we decide to do with it. Still, so many think the grass is greener on the other side but in reality, its just greener where I watered it. Life is the lawn but the water is sacrifice, hard work and taking full responsibility for that life. My "lawn" is getting better but there's still quite a few patches that need some tlc. The parts that are lush and green are great but there shouldn't be much envy or jealousy if people use their free will wisely. I've been told I'm so lucky I don't have bad children. Its almost like the idea is bad behavior is a standard feature of children. I prefer to say I'm blessed, no doubt. The reason they aren't Bebe's kids is because I sacrifice and make a serious conscious effort to pour all my love, knowledge and attention into them. Like most parents, I've also d...

Its Lit!!

I am always teaching, always building my children's world, every day whether I know it or not and even when I forget. They understand that home is wherever we are together, its how we do things together, its what we do for each other. Our life is modest but we have so much love and lots of fun. If you see me, you see them. But I have been so caught up in building their material and emotional world, I almost forgot to keep giving them light. If that happens, sometimes children are unable distinguish between artificial or other people's light and their own. Thats when they might start following the wrong crowd, mimicking behavoirs or trying to be like a celebrity. Its bound to happen, its part of growing up but too much of that can make them lose their way. Until a certain time, even the brightest children need a source of light not just to guide them but to keep them lit. ...

I'm Late For A Reason!

I was up early and upset this morning because we were late getting out the door to go to school.  My oldest was dragging her azz and kept asking for 5 more minutes to sleep. My son couldn't find his shoes even though I told him to get everything together last night. He swears he did because he put his clothes out smh...next time I will have to be more specific about including shoes. The youngest is sick fighting a little bug so she was the only one safe from my fussing. We FINALLY get out the door, 5min after our 10min grace period to still be on time. My son gets dropped off 3min before he's considered late, which would've been 7min if not for that godforsaken car line!! But before the drop off, as we passed slowly in the right lane, there was a mini van broken down. Half of it was in the left lane, the other on the grass median. Riding by we could see the front passenger side wheel had come COMPLETELY off!! There was nothing but the metal of rotors and breaks on...
